I have been thinking a lot about this book. Sal's name is becoming more and more obvious as the novel moves forward. Its like he craves to finally be in paradise after being in SALvation for so long. Now tell me...is this road trip what he has been waiting for? I am actually a little bit unsure. Dean is definitely having the time of his life but as for Sal...he is experiencing sooo many new things and I'm not sure how he feels about all of this overwhelming magic. I think Terry is extremely significant- she is almost a woman in distress waiting for someone to come along and pick her up- she remains to be a pretty optimistic character though and is constantly sharing new ideas. P.s. someone explain to Of Mice and Men reference?
