One of the funniest things about this reading to me was when Dean was hitting on that girl and the mother got furious with him. It was hilarious reading it and seeing the mother get so mad. Luckily Sal was able to remotely solve the problem and calm the women down a bit. But she still was pretty upset at Dean.
Also to Answer Ms. Siegals question about "Do you want on the road represnting your youth". I would probaly say no. I feel like in this novel the boys are "sleeping around a lot", drinking and it seems as if they are hiding from reality by doing all these other things.I understand that Sal does work picking cotton but I feel like our "youth" works even harder academically and a hand full of students have jobs. Nonetheless we still have fun., just not as much fun as Dean and Sal seem to have!
