After our class today I started thinking alot about the word SAD. I believe that sad is actually a strong word. When I think of sadness the first thing that comes to my mind is blue upsetting thoughts. So even though Jack could have chosen to use words like melancholy or depressed his use of the simple word SAD is almost complex because it is so simple. Now onto the reading for today! Dean was a real jerk at the end of our reading and I was ready to scream at him for what he did to those two poor girls (Camille and Inez). However I still admire Dean at the same time. Which is odd that Jack was able to create what I beleieve is a Love/Hate relationship bewteen the reader and Dean. Dean is broke,has two babies (or soon to be) on his hands and is expriencing what one would consider hell nonetheless he still can be contenet. It is fasicnating. I was kind of bummed when Sal and Dean decided not to go to Italy I thought that would be a fun adventure.
