i also realized there wasnt much of a change in dean but he is a very dynamic chracter in this reading. im glad they didnt go to italy but i think it was dean that kept sal here in the end because i dont think that sal is ready for the world and more change. the song was very important because it explained sal and the story, he went everywhere even back home and there is still no home for him in minset or in spirit.
